About Parametry.ai
First European startup applying blockchain in space
History
Parametry.ai was born from the Open Space Innovation Programme of European Space Agency (ESA) in collaboration with the University of Strathclyde. The initial research focused on decentralized coordination and governance in space. This translated in direct applications for satellite safety and space traffic risks. That work matured into Space DAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organization): a neutral, transparent orbit registry where consensus protocols and smart contracts model collision avoidance, policy testing, and operator negotiations. The founding team translated lab breakthroughs into operational prototypes, shipping open-source applications and mission simulations.
Mission
We build trustworthy digital infrastructure for high-stake, high-trust, high-impact projects by combining:
- Blockchain - tamper-proof coordination for multi-actor and service-level accountability
- Artificial Intelligence - predictive risk assessment and explainable consensus for high-stake decision-making
- Systems Engineering - cloud native and automation ready systems with API that are providing secured commanding vectors.
- Open Data Driven Competitions - Sharing knowledge is critical to acquire experience, open data is a great fuel for hackathons and other kind of challenges that bring great ideas to the front.
Vision
In an environment saturated with synthetic data, trust can no longer be inferred; it must be verifiable. We develop decentralized coordination systems that replace implicit trust with quantum resistant cryptographic provenance, neutral registries, and transparent business logic. Small, expert tiger teams rapidly deliver proofs of concept and targeted disruptions, demonstrating how distributed consensus and open protocols restore auditability and resilience. Space is our first proving ground, with healthcare, science, and other mission-critical systems next.
